We are a Third Section brass band, based in Rushden, Northamptonshire.
We rehearse in the Rushden WMC in Griffith St on Tuesdays & Thursdays at 8pm. We have a Junior Class which meets for an hour on Tuesdays at 7pm. The band is run by a committee of 7 playing members:-

In 2004 we appointed Peter Vine as our conductor. Peter has been in banding for many years and has played principal cornet with the Harborough Band for 22 years. Prior to that he has played with Wigston, Kibworth & Ibstock Band.

Rushden Town Band has had a run of success at contests lately.

We play at various events throughout the year including concerts, garden fetes, village shows and park bandstand appearances. We are members of the Leicestershire Brass Band Association and the British Federation of Brass Bands.
